What I’m working on this summer🌞
While summer often invites a slower pace, in my studio it’s anything but quiet. Summer is a time of focused making—preparing for the busy months ahead and nurturing ideas that have been simmering since spring.
Right now, I'm deep in the rhythm of throwing, carving, creating new colors and glazing as I build inventory for upcoming fall shows. Each piece that comes off the wheel feels like it’s part of a larger conversation—one that's moving toward something new.
Alongside the familiar forms, I’ve been working on a fresh line that I’m excited to share. It’s rooted in the same hand-carved aesthetic you know, but with some new curves, colors, and maybe even a shift in scale.
Summer gives me the space to experiment before the pace of fall kicks in. It’s a season of both reflection and production—a time to dig into the “why” behind the work and bring those ideas to life in clay.
If you're local, you may have seen some of these new pieces at the Belmont Farmers Market, or in Bolton at the Bolton Spring Farms inaugural Artisan Faire, but I’ll also be sharing sneak peeks online as they come out of the kiln.
Until then, thank you for being here and following along. I’m so grateful for your support—it’s what makes this work possible, season after season.
